This is brand new, as of August 2023.  I have not done my art for quite awhile.  Finally found some inspiration and sat down with my iPad and started sketching.  I was only going to do a pencil sketch.  But the more I went, I decided to add a painting layer.  So, here it is.  I am affectionately calling it “HKK” — short for ‘Hear Kitty, Kitty’!

Well, I love painting cats, especially big ones.  I knew if I got back into my art, a big cat would be the way to start and I was right.  The ‘model’ I used was a random photo I found, but I was not shooting for photo realism, as I have done in the past.  As a matter of fact, with AI (Artificial Intelligence) in our world today, there are too many so-called artists popping up everywhere.  So, I wanted this to look like a painting, and not a photograph.
